Couple of the Month
This month we have something new in our issue; it is the couple of the month. The couple chosen for this month is Barbara Kopchak and Earl Lambert.
Barbara is 5' 4", has eyes of brown, brown hair and weighs 118 pounds. Earl is 5' 6:V2", has brown eyes, brown hair, and weighs 135.
If you should ever be looking for Earl and Barbara, just stroll down to the Arcadia Theater and you will be sure to find them. For their favorite song they choose, "To Be Alone."
Both Earl and Barbara are sophomores in room 300. So, if you are ever on the third floor and you hear a shout, you'll know that it's Mr. Koontz telling Earl to please stay in his own seat.
Dig'this
Last year I asked her to be my wife and she gave me a negative reply, so to get even, I married her mother. Then my father married the girl.
When I married the girl's mother, the girl became my daughter, and my father married my daughter, so he became my son. When my father married my daughter, she became my mot'ier. If my father is my son and my daughter is my mother, who am I?
My mother's mother is my wife and must be my grandmother, and being my grandmother's husband, I must be my own grandfather. And there you are.

Students View On New Lunch Period
Mildred Vislosky - I'd rather go home for a hot meal.
Annlee Paul - Who likes dry sandwiches?
Ann Hromko - It was okay because we got out of school earlier.
Jerry Kiss - I didn't like it.
Pat Joyce - If it's what the rest want, it's okay with me, but I'd rather have it the other way.
Miss Steele - I like it very much. For the people working on the Stylus, it keeps us from staying so late after school.
Catherine Nolan - I like it because we get out of school earlier, then if you have to go to the dentist you don't get home at 6 o'clock.
Ray Tantorno - I don't like it because you don't have time to eat.
Frank Donato - We should have it because we get out of school earlier.
Bill Haddad - I don't care if we have it or not.
"Jasper" Jenning - It's good because you get to eat with your friends (girls).
